MECHANICAL FITTER / TECHNICIAN

Join Our Team as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician!

Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? We are a well-established company in the construction industry, seeking a dedicated professional to join our timber factory in Flimby.

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Fitter/Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing mechanical maintenance on plant and production equipment.

• Handling a variety of plant maintenance tasks and bespoke production equipment.

• Receiving full product training to ensure you excel in your role.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician.

• Holds an L3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Plant or Machinery Maintenance.

• Possesses electrical experience (advantageous but not essential).

• Brings a positive, ‘Can Do’ attitude to the team.

Working Hours:

• 39 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM – 14:00

• Flexibility with working hours is essential, with overtime and occasional weekend work available.
