HOL113 - Accounts Assistant
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and highly respected company working within the construction industry.

Working Hours
Full time working hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Subcontractor ledger – invoice processing, CIS returns
• Processing weekly BACS payments
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Cash Management
• Bank Reconciliations
• Dealing with general enquiries
• Year-end processes and assisting Auditors
• System maintenance and development
• Assistance with costings
• Other ad-hoc accounts and administrative tasks as required
Skills, Attributes & Qualifications
• Ability to positively contribute within a small friendly finance team working in a demanding environment
• A professional attitude with excellent organisational skills to prioritise own workload
• A thorough, methodical, and logical approach demonstrating problem solving skills to complete tasks when required
• Accurate data entry skills demonstrating a high level of diligence
• Actively seek ways to enhance your knowledge and contribute and support the team looking for continuous process improvements
• Pro-active and willing to listen and learn the role
• Have a positive can-do attitude, initiative-taking, dependable, polite, and punctual
• Previous experience in the construction industry and dealing with subcontractors would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
• Knowledge of accounting software packages (4PS would be an advantage)
• Knowledge in Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word
