About the Role
As a Civil Engineering & Highways Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing and delivering a range of Civil Engineering and Highways projects. Your duties will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards
- Managing and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
- Leading on temporary works, design coordination, CDM, and compliance with highways and civil engineering specifications
- Ensuring robust quality control, environmental management, and adherence to health & safety legislation
- Managing project programmes, sequencing works, and reporting progress
- Maintaining strong communication with clients, local authorities, utilities, and other key stakeholders
