CB133 - Administration Assistant (Part-Time)
Thomas Armstrong (Concrete Blocks) Ltd, a well-established and respected name within the UK construction materials sector, is looking to recruit a proactive and reliable Administration Assistant to support our busy Sales and Transport office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where no two days are the same. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of office operations, delivering high-quality administrative support to internal teams and customers.
The Opportunity

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 09:30 – 15:00
(30-minute unpaid lunch break each day)
We are happy to consider alternative part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing efficient administrative support to the Sales and Transport teams
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving queries professionally
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Supporting a busy office environment within a production setting
• Assisting with general office coordination and day-to-day tasks
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• A confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactive, with the ability to take ownership and initiative
• Experienced in a similar administrative or customer service role
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
Experience within a production or manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
Additional Information
• You will be required to provide flexibility to cover holidays and sickness absence, paid at the standard hourly rate
• This is a part-time, permanent role offering stability and a supportive team environment
