Thomas Armstrong (Concrete Blocks) Ltd is one of the biggest private block suppliers in the industry. We have a long-standing history, giving the company the foundations and ethos to become the reputable company it is today. The company has grown and developed to become one of the leading suppliers’ concrete blocks, aggregates and cement to the building, ready mixed concrete, and construction industries.
Today, the company continues to supply a wide range of concrete blocks from various block plants throughout the North of England. Our diverse and wide product range of readily available blocks, cement, sands, gravels available for supply to merchants and direct to clients and customers throughout the Northwest, and Northeast of England. We can achieve this due to the key advantage of our privately own large fleet of 70 modern heavy goods vehicles each able to carry up to 30 tonnes.
About the Role.
Shift working is in operation with alternating early and late shift patterns,
weekend overtime work may also be available.
Competitive salary of up to £61k per annum.
Early Shift
05:00 – 15:30 – Monday to Thursday
05:00 – 14:30 – Friday
Late Shift
15:00 – 01:00 – Monday to Thursday
14:00 – 00:00 – Friday
Holiday entitlement: 21 days set holidays + 8 statutory bank holidays
About the candidate.
As a Plant Electrician, you would ideally have some mechanical knowledge and have experience carrying out maintenance, installations and services.
