Location: Overby Quarry, Aspatria, Cumbria CA7 4NG
Position: Bagging Yard Operative / Weighbridge Operator
Salary: £13/hour + Weekly Production Bonus (Paid Weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30 (39 hours/week + overtime at time and a half)
Holiday: 29 days including Bank Holidays

We’re looking for a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our hardworking team at Overby Quarry as a Bagging Yard Operative / Weighbridge Operator.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Preparing and loading customer orders using a forklift truck
Assisting with weighbridge operations during staff absences
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting issues
Supporting the team with general yard and plant duties
Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
What We’re Looking For:
A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy is essential
Forklift experience is a plus – but we’ll train the right person!
A full UK driving licence is required
