Position: Mobile Plant Operator
Salary: £12.80/hour (Paid Weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 16:30 (39 hours/week + overtime at time and a half)
Holiday: 29 days including Bank Holidays

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant Operator to join our dedicated team at Cardewmires Quarry. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established and respected company in the aggregates industry.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in their work. You should be able to work independently, manage your workload effectively, and communicate confidently with colleagues and supervisors.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience operating a loading shovel (essential); experience with other mobile plant is a plus.
Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Good organisational abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.
Role Details
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 16:30 (47.5 hours/week, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay: £12.80 per hour, with time and a half paid after 39 hours
Holiday: 28 days per year (including statutory Bank Holidays)
Location: On-site at Cardewmires Quarry
Start Date: As soon as possible
