ACP (Concrete) Limited are seeking to recruit permanent, full time Production Operatives to work at our site based at Lakes Road in Workington, CA14 3YP.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company working in the manufacturing of specialist precast and prestressed concrete products.
Main duties include:
Operating in a busy production facility and working on a production line to ensure the timely and efficient manufacture of product, requiring enthusiastic applicants who enjoy working in a manufacturing environment and working as part of a team. Applicants who have experience in FLT operations would be advantageous.
Hours of work are:
06:00 – 16:15 Monday to Thursday. (4 day, 39 hour week)
(30 minute unpaid lunch break)
You will be required to work overtime, as and when required, during busy periods and Friday mornings.
Competitive hourly rate of pay dependent on skills, knowledge and experience.
Start rate: £10.42 per hour - during initial 3 month training period.
Potential increase to £12.15 per hour - with additional training/achieving required skills
Holiday entitlement:
21 days plus statutory bank holidays.
Experience not essential, as full training will be provided - but we do need reliable, committed, hard-working candidates.
