Retirement after 49 years' service

Thomas Armstrong Construction said goodbye to Malcolm Lockhart on Friday when he retired after 49 years’ service. 

Malcolm joined the company in April 1968 and worked on site as a joiner. Malcolm now plans enjoy his retirement and indulge in his hobbies, which include photography, playing golf, target shooting and walking as well as making walking sticks.

David Atkinson, Managing Director said “We would like to thank Malcolm for his loyal service and wish him well for his retirement.  I’m sure with Malcolm’s many hobbies he’ll never find himself at a loose end”.

Malcolm received a collection from his friends and colleagues, a cheque from the Company as a thank you for his service and enjoyed a farewell lunch at The Briery.  Thomas Armstrong would like to wish Malcolm a long a happy retirement.
