Concrete Blocks now on NBS Plus and RIBA Product Selector

All concrete block types that we produce are now fully specified on NBS Plus and RIBA Product Selector. This means that the full technical specifications of each of our block types are available at the click of a button to all architects, specifiers and designers.

NBS Plus

NBS Plus is a library of building product manufacturer details linked to clause guidance in the NBS specification products NBS Building, NBS Engineering Services and NBS Landscape. NBS Binders and Discs subscribers can take advantage of NBS Plus too.

NBS (National Building Specification) is the industry-standard specification authoring body for the UK, producing specification software used by tens of thousands of architects, services engineers, landscape architects and other design professionals. It also includes guidance on legislations and standards such as British Standards, Building Regulations and Code for Sustainable Homes.

NBS Plus is embedded within the NBS software and is a library of manufacturers technical information written in the NBS format and accessible to all subscribing construction professionals looking to specify building products.

NBS Plus has many benefits for the specifier:
  • You can be sure that what you are specifying is accurate and suitable for the purpose intended.
  • Accurate specification also reduces the likelihood of the chosen products being substituted for other products.
  • You can save time without compromising quality, as in many NBS Plus entries all the information required to specify is available within the page, in NBS format.

You can visit the NBS website on www.thenbs.com or go straight to our specifications by clicking on the NBS logo on the right >>

RIBA Product Selector

The RIBA Product Selector is the only comprehensive printed directory of building products in the UK and for the first time Thomas Armstrong's concrete block products will be fully available and accessable to all subsribers.  The 2013 edition will reference up to 10,000 suppliers, over 25,000 trade names, 1000 advisory organisations and almost 500 RIBA accredited CPD providers.

From the RIBA Product Selector website, all of our NBS Plus clauses are fully accessible. Vist www.ribaproductselector.com.
