Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Limited have commenced work on a £2 million project to construct 20 new build flats for Home Group Developments at Hensingham Whitehaven Cumbria. The timber frame structure will provide energy efficient accommodation on a green field site adjacent to the existing Walkmill Court , which will be demolished on completion of the new facility. Work is programmed for completion towards the end of 2009.
