PFI Development

 
Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Limited successfully completed its first Private Finance Initiative project for the provision of Workington Divisional Police Headquarters in 2001.
 
The company acted as team leader for the project and held responsibility for finance, construction and facilities management - including providing buildings maintenance for a 25 year term.

This was closely followed by a second PFI project to construct the new Workington Community Hospital on behalf of the NHS.  The project was completed in 2005.
