Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd secures £16 million worth of work in first three months of 2008

Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd have successfully tendered and secured, in excess of, £16 million worth of contracts in the first three months of 2008. The contracts, mainly in the Cumbria area, will add to the ongoing commitment to the local workforce and is seen as continued expansion to the Thomas Armstrong Group.
 
Contracts secured are: -
  • Workshop Development, Forge Close, Barrow         - £1,100,000
  • Boundary Walling, Moor Close Croft, Workington    - £150,000
  • Moor Close regeneration work, Workington             - £370,000
  • Refurbishment Lindisfarne, Carlisle                        - £125,000
  • Nuclear Academy, Lillyhall, Workington                 - £11,000,000
  • 10 Dwellings, Park View Farm, Bothel, Cumbria     - £1,150,000
  • 14 Dwellings, Strawberry How, Cockermouth          - £1, 600,000
  • Remedial repairs to house in Whitehaven               - £125,000
  • Infrastructure works, Low Road, Whitehaven           - £500,000
  • Demolition of dwellings, Victory Crescent, Maryport - £50,000
