August 2006 saw the installation of a new Viking Champion QC306 machine to allow the company to increase manufacturing requirement for 2 way entry pallets.

 

The machine will produce up to 700 quality pallets per 8 hour day using one operator.

 

Increases in demand for 2 way entry pallets from customers throughout the North of England ensure that the machine will allow stock holdings to be built to satisfy customers J.I.T requirements.

 

The new machine follows after the recent installation of 2 Atica pallet making machines which are used for the manufacture of both 2 and 4 way entry pallets.

 

The company has now invested more than £1/2 million in pallet manufacturing over the last 6 years in order to ensure short lead turns and quality pallets for customers in industries ranging from Cartonboard manufacture to animal feed products.
